The Indie MEGABOOTH is powered by volunteers who have a passion for the innovative, stimulating, and entertaining games of the independent game developer community.

With attendance at PAX in the tens of thousands, and with so many developers, fans, and members of the press coming to see 80+ titles during the conference, we need all the help we can get to keep things running smoothly.

Our volunteers:

• Act as the point person at the  booths/kiosks while devs take a break
• Assist with load-in/setup and teardown
• Encourage fans to sign-up for the IMB newsletter
•  Cover the IMB headquarters desk to answer questions or hand out maps
• Direct press and fans to the games they want to see and/or  suggest something interesting to passersby. .

If selected to participate as a volunteer, IMB provides each person with a complimentary badge and a couple of official IMB t-shirts to wear during your shifts, among other little perks and surprises which vary from show to show.

Beyond making a difference in the indie community, volunteering for the MEGABOOTH is a great way to meet amazing new people, learn about the community and explore PAX from behind the scenes.
