Mothergunship is a rogue-like first person shooter where you can craft your own guns, play together with your friends, fight gigantic bosses and defeat a robotic alien armada that conquered Earth.Mothergunship is a direct followup, but not a sequel to 2014's Tower of Guns, a strange randomized FPS bullet-hell.The idea: Tower of Guns did some interesting things and Mothergunship is, mechanically, leverages lessons from what went well with Tower of Guns' gameplay. The core gameplay loop: randomized bullethell FPS gameplay with quasi-permadeath, is still preserved, but Mothergunship has much more attention paid to visuals, a metaprogression experience, performance, a full on (and pretty uniquely over the top) gun-crafting experience, and a full Co-OP experience.In Mothergunship you play as a member of the last bastion of survivors after Earth has been invaded and conquered by a race of robotic aliens. You must fight your way through their armada of randomly generated ships and work your way to the ultimate battle: The Mothergunship. Along the way, you'll dodge a million bullets, fight gigantic bosses, upgrade your armor and headquarters, craft some really unique guns with like..5 barrels and stuff on them, and play as a Scottish Terrier.
