Astroneer is a third-person exploration adventure game set during an aerospace revolution. The player assumes the role of a lone space explorer, an Astroneer, and is tasks with searching nearby worlds for resources. In the process the player must first survive and then thrive against the elements. All planets, moons, asteroids, and comets are procedural, and fully deformable by the player using the Deformation tool. These worlds are seeded with the resources required for the creation of a wide array of technologically useful machines, vehicles, tools, and devices. Over time surviving will become less of a concern for an Asrtroneer and it is up to them to decide how they thrive.
