25 Hour Twitch Stream for Charity is a Go!

extra life

Team Indie MEGABOOTH is gearing up for our 25 hour livestream Extra Life gaming marathon starting this Saturday at 8am.  That’s 24 hours with a bonus Daylight Savings Time hour crammed in there as well!

We’ll have over 15 companies joining in from all over the world in our largest Twitch stream ever.  We’ll be playing our favorite games and unreleased indie titles, taking questions from fans and raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network.  Come watch the madness and be sure to join in the night shift crew while we chug coffee and entertain.  All for a good cause!

Be sure to subscribe to our Twitch channel and check out the schedule below so you don’t miss your favorite team.

Our goal is to raise $10k and we’re already on our way!  All proceeds go directly to the Children’s Miracle Network and your donation is tax deductible.  You can check out our interview with Kerry Demone who has been helping us coordinate our efforts and learn more about how you can help.

Kerry was kind enough to give me a tour of the local Boston’s Children Hospital to show where the proceeds go and how fundraisers, like Extra Life directly help children and families when they need it most.  Not only do the funds cover gaps in coverage for urgent care and procedures, but it also funds programs to help children cope with long term hospital stays and provide families with the tools and resources they need.  It’s an incredible program and I’m very happy we could be a part of it!
